I've known a few who had amazing moms - moms from interesting ethnic cultures that taught them to persevere and to make awesome tortillas or pho. But I think there is another category of amazing - we came from a hostile womb, child abuse turned to teen abuse turned to young woman abuse turned to NC or LC, we survived Medea and now we are making the world a better place.
