Considering I am right now in Baku, Azerbaijan which is a former Soviet

State I can say with no uncertainty that we owe our vets a HUGE debt. The

country

here is nice, it's even at times a beautiful place but it is nothing when

compared to the beauty of anywhere USA no exceptions. The people here are very

nice, very helpful and all of that very much like those we have all over the

US and certainly in the Great State of Texas. However, you can still see 17

years after the fall of Soviet rule here the ravages of the time they spent

under that failed system and I understand it's MUCH worse in some other areas

of the Former Soviet Union, we owe what we have to vets and the Grace of God.

Thank you for your show of appreciation. For those that know, and the many

that don't, I am finally back at home after 19 months of being away.

Yesterday was my first full day of my " normal " life!!!

11 of those months were spent playing in the deserts of the Middle East as a

Navy Corpsman, the last 8 months sitting at the Naval Medical Center San

Diego recovering from an injury I received this last time.

Here's to all my fellow veterans, and to all of y'all that support us.

Welcome home and I hope your recovery is uneventful and complete. I too

thank you for your service. I am very grateful for all the sacrifices that

our service people make every day to preserve our way of life.

Welcome back, , and thanks to you and all who have and are now serving.

There are few places in this world that don't owe something to this country's

military forces, and mere words can't express the debt owed by this country and

everyone who enjoys all that we have.

To all of our military forces, past and present, and to all that stand behind

them and support them--THANK YOU!
