Guest guest
Flora, You are absolutely correct. A year ago this month, I had a massive seizure while on vacation in Durango, CO. Because of this, I had to leave my job, which required driving 500 miles per day five days per week delivering nuclear medicine to hospitals and imaging clinics. At that time, I was on 80 mg Baclofen per day. Baclofen lowers the threshold for seizures which required the Baclofen dosage to be lowered to 60 mg and Zanaflex was prescribed as a substitute. Thankfully I have not had another seizure since and DOT does not permit me to haul hazardous material any more. So you can see the adjustment I went through when I give up a 5000 dollar a month income for SSDI. Now I am pretty much confined to a walker, wheelchair, and scooter. Have a great day! Norton Re; / Meds are kicking my butt you said you take: I take 60 mg Baclofen per day, 8 mg Tizanidine per day, Why both, when I think they are the same Tizanidine is a generic for zanaflex. just wondering why.
