Guest guest
The nausea is gone now but it was me reacting to the Baclofen. I am slowly writing up my story but I am going to say this now. They tried everything even 16mg of iv Zofren ( the strongest anti-nausea med they have) which is 4X the normal single dosage. It cut it a little but that was it, they told me there was nothing else they could try. I had been getting desperate and had put in for the Col. medicinal marihuana. Well that same night it arrived. The thought of lighting up and choking (I don't smoke) was almost as appealing as eating... My wife convinced me, the second puff and the nausea was gone, by the 6th puff I went, what can I eat. I only had to use it for 2 days (6X), always the same results and then it seem like my GI got back on track. I know this is not a good subject but my wife and I feel like it saved my life... I am not writing a lot because, surprise, as the doctor's say, I am not reacting " normally " to the pump. The last week hasn't been nice but we keep working. Hopefully we can get it under control. take care everyone, dale Dale > Gee whiz Dale what is causing all the nausea? > Since my hubbys stroke he has had a lot of problems with nausea and dizzy spells. We tried Dramamine which helps a great deal. You might give it a try. Thats just too much weight loss in 3 weeks time, no wonder your still weak. > Take care, Sandy > >

Guest guest
Has anyone heard from Dale lately? His last post he said he was getting weaker and weaker. I am a little worried about him. Sandy
Guest guest
Sandy, I just talked to Dale's wife last week towards the end of the week and he is still having some problems but will be done with PT in five or so days. They are looking for a used van to be able to use with his wheelchair so he can get out more and more easily. He is still not in any pain but getting the pump regulated is something they are still working on. So that's what I know. I am sure he will fill us in more when he is up to it!!
