I applied to BC/BS of North Carolina when we moved down here in February. (they are supposed to be the only insurance co. in the state that will not turn you down). So, low and behold, they woun't turn me down...they only want $2214 A MONTH !!!! So, I am now self insured. My neuro at Duke wanted me to have a SSEP test and I turned it down as it costs thousands of dollars. If I can find someone who is even willing just to cover casastropic insurance I would be ever thankful. (I had breast cancer 5 years ago and the other agents say that is an auto reject) Thanks and looking forward to his email address.
