Guest guest Posted July 9, 2004 Report Share Posted July 9, 2004 Hi, I've got good news I want to share this morning! I've been working hard the past couple of months on dieting. Some of you have heard me bemoan having gained weight the former year and a half .... Like 20 pounds, yuck. I've always battled the bulge and sometimes that bulge was pretty bad, but had lost everything I wanted to lose a couple of years ago. Dieters know it's easier to lose than maintain, LOL! Well, as of this morning, I've now lost 10 of the 20 that jumped back on when I wasn't looking. I have to admit that I notice it's a little easier to walk! Now, I'm not saying that I no longer need the cane that I started to use every day six months ago, but, I am noticing it is easier to lift my legs. That is helping to motivate me and hopefully, I can kiss the other 10 goodbye, too, or at least another 5. I'm older and my metabolism is changing and I can't be as active as I used to be thanks to these crazy legs, so I'll take what I can get as long as it's not in the up-direction! best, Kathi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
