Guest guest
Hello Group, I'm back home in New Jersey after going down to Virginia for a family reunion on the 4th. of July......97 of us made it and it was great to see the majority of my aunts/uncles and cousins on my mother's side of the family. It was the first time most of them got to see my PLS walk. I wasn't sure how I would feel with that many people watching me all at once, but I just bit the bullet, and did what I needed to do and everything worked out fine. I think meeting Ronnie in West Virginia the Wed. before helped alot to. She is such an inspiration to me. She has such a positive attitude with all she has been through over the years. Here I was whining and throwing my walker down the driveway a few weeks ago, feeling bad about what I couldn't do anymore. After spending a few hours with Ronnie I came away with a new perspective about this whole PLS experience and I can't thank her enough. Now I appreciate what I still can do and focus more on that, than what I used to could do. Thanks Ronnie for being you. And thanks to this group, for you each have helped me to take another step on this jouney. God Bless you all..........Jeannie/nj
