Dale,

Thats neat that you were able to spend some time with him before he had to

leave.

What JERKS as you put it, I wonder if they knew that it would effect others

leaves. I hope they catch them all, and give them what punishment they deserve.

He and all our troops are in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Friday, July2 OT

I wasn't on yesterday because my brother-in-law had a 4 day pass, his

regiment is scheduled to ship to Afghanistan in mid-July. He and wife and

child wanted to spend the day with us, I felt a big honor with only 4 days.

We had a good day but it was very sad also. This was just his second day

and he got a call, all passes were revoked. Apparently 10 guys who didn't

get leave because they hadn't qualified had gone AWOL, we had to spend a

couple of hours get a ticket so he could fly out last night. What a bunch

of jerks, I thought when they caught them they should just make them a squad

and my brother-in-law could be the leader (he's a sergeant). I think that

would be better than prison!

Please keep him in your thoughts.
