Guest guest
Well, now that I'm back on the .25mg of klonopin and on 1 1/2 grains of Armour with nice steady temps at 98.1 - 98.2 or so, I would like to nudge the Armour up again, but I feel like I need to hold here until I get off of this antibiotic and get my sleep patterns hammered down a little better. I moved the bed-time dose back to 8-9PM and, as Val predicted, I'm waking up between 4 and 5AM hungry and unable to get back to sleep until after 6AM with less than an hour before I have to get up for work. This is right back where I started a week ago before the wheels really came off and I couldn't sleep at all for four or five days so. I'm getting up at 4:30 and taking 2.5mg of HC but, as Barb has found out with her husband, once we wake up that way, getting back to sleep is impossible. So, I guess that my choices are to try to set the alarm for 3AM and take the 2.5mg of HC then as Barb's husband is doing and/or move that evening dose back to bed-time although I know that it will cause GI problems and that it will only hold until 6-7AM at the best and I would like to find a way to sleep longer than that through the holidays. I'm also finding that even with the 2.5mg at 4AM, I'm having a hard time waking up and that I'm tired all morning, congested until the 8AM 10mg dose kicks in, and a little dizzy in the AM although not too bad. I know that these are all low cortisol symptoms which means that I need more night time cortisol. I'm dosing 10mg/8AM, 10mg/noon, 5mg/4PM, 5mg/8-9PM, and 2.5mg/4-5AM for a total of 32.5mg. As long as I'm on 32.5 anyway, should I go to 10/10/7.5/5 at bedtime and hope that it will hold me longer? I'm also considering trying the cream just at bed to help with the GI upset. Thanks, thanks to Val as always, and Happy Holidays to everyone.
