Guest guest
I am about to take the saliva test tomorrow morning and if all results come back that i have low cortisol levels etc I plan on taking the hydrocortisone I ordered off the internet to improve my quality of life. I'm predicting my adrenal fatigue to be around a stage 4, no lower than 3 and no higher than 5. My main questions are I've heard that low dose therapy of HC may not lead to the weight gain and puffy face associated with the higher doses? Also, is it possible that with the low dose hydrocortisone I could possibly lose weight instead of gain it, hence it would help me lose some of the weight I've gained in the hips and belly area? any comments would be appreciated. The way I see it I offer a unique perspective because this is something that has been going on for only 9 months and I am only 22 years old. Most doctors would simply give me the lowest treatment possible and tell me to recover on my own however I feel that by perhaps treating it aggresively now instead putting more of a burden on my adrenals waiting years and years for them to recover, i may actually be doing the right thing. We shall see it will be interesting and I will keep everyone posted.
