Guest guest Posted December 21, 2007 Report Share Posted December 21, 2007 Alrighty, I now have my little bottle of Hydrocortisone. I wasn't able to take it until about 1:30pm today. The instructions the doctor gave me are to take 10mg (2 tabs) in the morning and 5 mg (1 tab) at noon. I'm supposed to go back to see him for a sleep study on January 2nd. I was out with my dh trying to do our Christmas shopping when I took it. The doctor's directions said if you missed a dose to take it with the next dose if it was time for it. I wasn't comfortable doing that so I took 2 tablets instead of 3. I didn't really feel any different today. When I got home I looked up the dosing schedule that Val has on the STTM site. I'm wondering if I should use her schedule to start out with or as the doctor prescribed it. What problems may occur if I start too high too quickly? Thanks!
