Hi Rita, I woke up at 4:30 a.m. this morning since I have the TV show. I'm sure you understand! Can you give me his name and contact info? I'd love to try to do that!!! I recently met a businessman whose company has a Foundation and he was very impressed with what our community has done, especially in such a short period of time as a small group of volunteers. He is very interested in learning more about rare diseases and maybe there's some grant money for us down the road from his company. I had someone who was going to help us with proposal writing last year but unfortunately that didn't pan out and she couldn't follow through. So, now that's a new skill to learn and hopefully we can start doing that and get some bucks to help us develop some service programs for our community next year. We were able to get four articles published in local town newspapers last year on what we're doing. I'm thrilled we have the TV show today and I'm hoping I can get us in a bigger, daily newspaper this year. And of course it would be great to get even more attention! One of those articles is going to be included in the TW mailing packet we're sending out in a couple of weeks. If anyone would like a mailing packet sent to them, please let me know and I'll have add you to the mailing list. best, Kathi
Guest guest
Kathi..Please send me copies of the four articles you mentioned in your email. Guest guest
Kathi: Before I give you the name person from ABC, I want to tell you that this particular groups leans towards the religious aspect of this disease, and how faith contributes to the dealing with the disease. Think about it from that point of view and tell me how you would present it to the network? This is what they wanted from , and they said that there was enough coverage of the actual battles that took place in Europe, but what part 's faith played in his survival. Rita Till next time!
