Guest guest
Hi, I just got my Aldosterone and Renin Test Results back and I cannot make heads or tails of it. I had the blood drawn at 3:40 PM and I was sitting in a chair. And, at about 1PM I had a lunch that I realized later was probably pretty high in salt. I had not followed any special salt restricted diet prior to having the blood drawn, but I had not been using sea salt either. !ALDOSTERONE/RENIN RATIO SEE COMMENT ALDOSTERONE/RENIN RATIO: 6.3 Reference Range: <30.0 ALDOSTERONE: 48 Reference Range: <32 ng/dL REFERENCE RANGE for Aldosterone Serum: upright: 4-31 ng/dL supine: < 16 ng/dL RENIN ACTIVITY: 7.6 ng/mL/hr Reference Range: not applicable (what???)
