Met Eva

Hey everyone,

Had a fantastic day Saturday. A friend of mind drove me to sburg (WV),

halfway between Berkeley Springs and ton where we met Eva had lunch and

talked about everything and everyone under the sun. It was a great meeting and

like all the Connection just went by too fast.

At first I thought Eva was doing that southern WV drawl and then I thought maybe

she was talking PLS talk but I finally figured it out. Miss Eva was just

talkin' white.

It was well worth the 2 hour plus trip. It is like meeting an old friend. You

just start talking like you have always known each other and it takes only

minutes to realize how much alike we all are. It no longer surprises me because

I long ago realized that like personalities do " like " things. Why else would

all the Connections come off so well. Those of us that are brave social

creatures venture out and about because we love meeting others and having a good

time. That's exactly what we did Saturday. That and eat. No gathering could

be complete without a little food.

I urge all of you to meet other PLSers. It is probably doable from almost

anywhere. Most everyone will make an effort to meet somewhere halfway and most

of us do know someone 4 or 5 hours away. Now that summer is here it is a

perfect way to spend a Saturday. Just do it.

Eva, thanks so much for making the trip. I'm really glad I got to meet you.

Now, more than ever, I wish you weren't going to Florida. We WV Angels need to

hang together. Anyway, you haven't left yet so maybe there will be another

visit in our future. If I can get you and Jeanne Ann to make the trip up here,

I'll rent a hall and we can do a show and raise some funds for SPF. I can

always teach you guys to dance.....
