Guest guest
Good Luck with the C-pap Val. It can make such a hugh difference in your health. It can also save your life if you truly have sleep apnea. My FIL died at the age of 52 we believe that his heart attack was caused from undiagianosed sleep apnea. He died asleep in his recliner. I just got the instruction book for DH C-pap. I adjusted it up by 1 level & he seems to be sleeping OK. He has had this C-pap for over 5 yrs & I just discovered a filter on it after getting this manual. It was so stopped up that cleaning it may make a big difference for him.He has high AM cortisol but it is in the tank the remainder of the day. I believe this is directly related to the sleep apnea. If you decide to start sex hormones I would suggest that you start with estrogen only until you get that figured out. When you are happy with that then try adding in a little progesterone. I started thyroid, estrogen & progesterone all at the same time & boy was that a mistake. Gale > > Well I have my fingers crossed that I have FINALLY found the last of my > health issues to treat. Guest guest
I htink sleep apnea may be even more undiagnosed than hypothyroidism as they go together. I would have thought (now that I know the symptoms) that ANY doctor would have recognized the sympotms in me YEARS ago. I wrecked three cars fallign asleep driving them. Usually on my way home from work. I thought I had narcolepsy adn then I blamed it on low T3. but I still cannot drive over an hour wihtotu getting very sleepy. I have fallen asleep while grooming a dog~! With a running clipper in my hands and woke when my head hit the grooming table as I went down. Pretty bad... I used to take a nap every day around noon so I could even finish my day grooming. Pitiful that no doctor ever even suggested sleep apnea. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
