Guest guest
Cortisol Rhythym 8AM 28 (13-24) Noon 4 (5-10) 5PM 1 (3-8) 10PM 1 (1-4) DHEA 12 elevated He was on 50 mg DHEA for a couple of months. He is now on 12 mg. Estradiol 15 (1-5) He is 59 yrs old Progesterone 102 (5-95) Testosterone 52 (35-65) TSH 50 (26-85 normal) it took 10 days to receive the test fT4 .16 (.17-.42) low fT3 .42 (.28-1.10) He has sleep apnea & uses a C-pap religiously. He still needs 10-11 hrs of sleep & is dragging ALL of the time. He is up & down every night & eats. He stopped smoking about 6 months ago & began having symptoms of hypo. (Just like I did after quitting smoking). I started him on Thyroid-S & he was on 180mcg at the time of these tests. He was in the hospital in Sept for atril fibrilation. He is on Toprol & another BP med. I am going to raise his Thyroid-S to 240mcg. I believe that he needs another sleep study & his C-pap adjusted but with no Ins that will be hard to do. It will take us several years to pay off the hospital bills from his last stay. I am assuming that he needs HC? Gale
