I have been just lurking - didn't have anything much to contribute. in UK - about your wife having poor quality of life. Baclofen Pump may not be the answer necessarily, it doesn't help everyone. I was suffering similarly to your wife, and tried everything including Baclofen and didn't like the results till I tried Neurontin 2100mg daily (divided into 3 doses) and 100mg Provigil and 40mg Prozac. I am now mentally, emotionally and physically at ease, and sleep all night, and enjoy life although I am profoundly disabled. Without these medications my life would be hellish, and I am so grateful for them. Neurontin may help your wife's pain, spasticity and seized up muscles. It makes you feel spaced out for the first few days but that goes away. Everyone is different. Just my 2 cents worth!
