Guest guest
His high estradiol is tellig the true story of just how badly he needs cortiosl. I would NOT raise the thyroid intil he os on some. It would just set him up for a huge thyroid dump. With thyroid levels thta low on 180mg... you can bet his blood levels are through the roof! BTW another way to adjust CPAP is to record (I used a VHS camcorder) sleeping for a full 8 hours adn adjust the pressure UP until the episodes stop. You can hear them clearly in the sound part of the video. You can also get the copy of the manual you need ot adjust the machine from the web if oyu search for them. BUT this aside, getting his thyroid and cortiosl right should help this anyway. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Thanks Val. He is in pretty bad shape. He has all but lost his thriving business, he cannot bring himself to leave the house for work before 10-10:30. I will start him on HC today. He is a big guy, 6'1 " & about 245 lbs. (he is gaining weight fast since his thyroid tanked). How much HC do you think that he will need? I have not been able to find the manual for his C-pap. I have the user manual but it does not tell how to adjust it. What type of manual should I search for? His unit is a Remstar/plus cPap system. He does not stop breathing like he did prior to the C-pap. I do however hear him snoring lightly with the C-pap on & running. Is this enough to need it adjusted? Thanks again. Guest guest
You're in luck it is the same CPAP I have, I will send oyu a manual when I get hoem form work this afternon. It is the set up manual which only the clinicians are supposed ot have. Yes I htink any snoring should be increased but perhaps he does nto need much more pressure. As to how much HC he will need, it depends how he responds ot it, btu men need more than women, so I would plan on 30-40MG. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
I need to grow some patients Val. I just found the manual on Ebay & bought it. LOL I may call on you when I begin making adjustments if you do not mind. I will get him started on the HC today. This has been going on for 5-6 years, I have all but given up on him. even our children & other relatives have commented that he has aged so much that he is like an old man. I finally have some hope that he can get to feeling better. Gale > > You're in luck it is the same CPAP I have, I will send oyu a manual when > I get hoem form work this afternon.
