Guest guest
I read somewhere that one of the best things for adrenals is tomatoe juice, or maybe it was best for thyroid problems...it was something about the level of sodium/potassium in the juice concentrate. I notice that the level of potassium is lower in regular tomatoe juice rather than V8. Maybe some of you have heard the same or something similar and can clear up my confusion. I've read so much, I think Im confusing myself at times. Thanks
Guest guest
It woiuld be lower potassium and higher sodium to support adrenals but there is a MUCH healthier way to get GOOD sodium in to your body and that is with unrefiuned sea salt. Many of us here use it and I take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon in a glass of water or low spodium tomato juice twice a day,. You can also put it in orange juice but use the low sugar variety as well. The regular sodium in tomato juice is poisin just as all table salt is to us! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Val, I've been wondering about the 'similar to V-8' juice that I get at Trader Joe's called Garden Patch. It does have high sodium (730mg/8 oz.), but the sodium listed in the ingredients is Sea Salt. Should I trust that it is truly good-for-us Sea Salt or assume it's adulterated Sea Salt? Thanks, Kirsten > > It woiuld be lower potassium and higher sodium to support adrenals but > there is a MUCH healthier way to get GOOD sodium in to your body and > that is with unrefiuned sea salt.
