Guest guest
Hi Val, Hope you are having a nice Friday. I am having some computer glitches so I am not sure if you saw my post answering your ? as to when my LH was taken. The part of my cycle was that it Wed. and had that test done early morning on Monday. The LH were are discussing is 2.7 . Yesterday you said I was VERY hypo. Well the cortisol serum is of no ise because I made a big boo boo and took the aderall Sat. which in tunr showed higher levels of cortisol then I most likely have. I know the salivia test will be more fof a gauge to see where I can begin. I did some research of real thyroid under the mental forum to see how and if patients on depression medication were able to wean down and do well with the Armour, HC protochol and some could do it and some need meds as their levels are low and it would not be wise to do go off until other things are more balnaced. I still am trying to find out why my EBV levels are >5.oo and maybe I need to see an immunologist which I will be looking for today and over the weekend. By now those levels shoul have come down more. Can you please give me some feedback as to what is best step to take for now. I also was reading the real thryoid stickies by I think his name is and he said if one does not do the protochol exactly then it is of no use. Meaning do the temps. , the salivia test adn treat adrenals. It said is has been a long recovery for him and that also one must research not just get their information from groups. While I can get where he is coming from, not everyone is in a place in their health were they can do extensive research. People I know at least that suffer from severe fatigue and Fibro etc.. are lucky they can even get on the computer most days. I do get the is trying to say we as patients must be informed, but also too much research I have found can make someone feel worse because there are so many different points of view and it gets to be that one has so much information to go through it is like what started what. The regime that people do here I do get more and more by reading posts , I just get like here I go again as it took SO long to get on AD medications that helped me to do SO much better. Of course if I would have know more about thyroid then I could have made sure they tested me properly and might might be in the health situation I find myself in now. But like some of my friends believe everything happens for a reason. Thanks for some feedback as to what I can do or ask when I see the Intergrative doc on Monday. I will be sure to get another lab slip so thI know the thyroid antibodies. If you see by my labs I posted yesterday any other serum testing that would be beneficial please let me know. Thanks, a
Guest guest
Low cortisol is probbably why your immune system is not ableto fight off the EBV. Actually the test they do is for antibodies to it so your system is trying it;s best, but EBV can be VERY persistent. Your LH is low from what I know of cycles and that could mean you are close to menopause. I do nto know how old you are. The fiust step you can do is to get the saliva testing done so you can strt treating the adrenals. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks VAl, I am in my 30's and get a heavy time of month so I do not think I am near menapaus. I am for sure taking the salvia test,my question is am I very hypo ? I know first cortisol must be addressed, I just would like to know what my thyroid levels reveal? Hopefully with proper Hc or isocort ramping as you have in the files the EBV will give a little because I got it years back and it will not budge. I think someone said they had it the other day but I am tired and could be off lol.. Best Regards, a wrote: Low cortisol is probbably why your immune system is not ableto fight off the EBV.
