I am sorry I have missed getting your e-mail, but I am here with my Charlie and his PLS. He went fishing with one of his buddies today and it was exciting for him for a short time, but tonight his legs are jumping pretty bad, but he has taken all his meds and ate cereal for his midnight snack and here we are, hopefully get into bed sooner or later. My hubby has always been a fishermen. When he had his stroke 2 years ago it really changed things.Now he has to rely on someone to take him which he just hates. He used to go on 3 day fishing trips by him self to just get away. He told me a couple of weeks ago that he was going to sell his Bass boat. I looked at him and said that would be the worst thing he could do, because it would be like giving up. Thankfully he listened and decided not too. He is so used to going by himself or etc with his little bass boat but he did sell it dadgumit but the men that takes Charlie fishing use my car as it has the wheelchair in the back (trunk of car) he also has a lift for the electric wheelchair, but he usually uses the manual one and they tie a rope around him and lower him down to a dock at a private lake and they catch lots of fish, they bait his hook with crickets and sometimes I go and video them fishing but it is too hot for me now, but he loves to go even though he can't do or help himself as he use to. No they did not catch but just a few as they went to another private lake and it is not as good as " Bear Creek " ...ha ha boy did his legs go into spasms though last night. I got him in the shower and let the hot water fall on them and he took baclofen and vicodan and mirapex and finally stopped around midnight and he slept good last night.
