Some more fortunate people have subsidised BUPA membership as a " perk " of their job (we are one of those lucky families) and some just buy the insurance cover for themselves. Guest guest Posted May 12, 2006 Report Share Posted May 12, 2006 My husband did have the insurance with his work but then took early retirement , so we carried the payments on ourselves as I was very ill at the time and we didn't want to have to change hospitals or Consultants...
