I am Donna in southern Ca and I have HSP, I also have a baclofen pump I have had it since 1998 and I have had a great experience with the pump, not everyone does but I have been one of the lucky ones, in fact I am on my 2nd pump, had to have the 1st one replaced in Dec 2002. I also use a wheelchair to get around I went from a cane, to Canadian crutches to the chair. 11 years ago I started using the chiar all the time and I also work full time for a major cellular phone company as a customer service rep so I have a sit down job where I work on the computer & phone for my entire shift. As some of the others have mentioned you can find a wealth of information at the sp-foundation.org website and there is also an HSP list and a lot of the same people are on both lists, myself for one. So again I welcome you, sorry you have to be here, sorry any of us have to be but isn't it wonderful to know there are others out here who have gone through and are going through many of the same things, you 're not so isolated. take care and take advantage of what the group has to offer.
