Re: saliva test, what DAY of my cycle?

Mine says to test on day 19, 20, or 21 of your cycle, with day 1 the

first day you notice bleeding. I take this to mean 5-7 days after you

ovulate. That would be an important distinction to anyone who does not

have a 28-day cycle, like me. There have been months where I'm only

just ovulating ON day 21, so that would really throw off this test!

(In fact, my son was considered two weeks overdue, when he really

wasn't because I have a 6-week cycle. Had to fight with the doc about

not inducing!)

Do NOT stop the Armour. The results will show whether your dosage is

too high or low, and that can only be determined if you take it as you

normally do.

Can you tell me what day of my cycle is optimal for saliva testing?

Also, Can I take armour right up to the day prior? or do I stop ealier?<<

As it si testing TOSSUE levels you can take Armru the day of testing with saliva

testing just swallow it instead of taking it sublingually. Day 21 of your cycle

is the preferred day to test.

This is an issue that concerns me because having had a hysterectomy, I

have no idea what day of my cycle I am on. I still have ovaries so

technically, I still have a cycle. How much does this affect your test

results and in which direction (does it show higher or lower cortisol?)

Thanks,

English

Oh, that is great to know, thank you Val.

I hope your busy pre holiday work load goes smoothly. I sure wish you

could do something with my scruffy schnoodle Bobo who joins me in

wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
