Guest guest
Are there such things as good soil based organisms for human probiotic use? The very long article (second link) seems to me to raise disturbing questions. sol Gikas wrote: > Nature's biotics are good soil based organisms. Guest guest
Thanks for that info! It was a good read. I noticed Swanson vitamins now sells a soil organisms brand. So, based on what she wrote it is not that there is a know issue with the soil organisms, but that there is much unknown about them and their long term effects. I will take the risk at this point. For all the horrible things contaminating my body, I imagine the good bacteria has to be better than all the mycotoxins and fungi that have inhabited my body. We will see in 10 years if I have mutant bacteria changing my cell structure, lol. Actually, the point she makes is not only true of antibiotics but a host of other things that change cell structure and DNA and the US government has been putting stuff in our food supply, air and water for decades. One thing she doesn't address is that Primal Defense uses a fermentation process which I would think would counter some of the concerns but I really don't know enough to make an educated hypothesis. I also wonder, since this article is 4 years old, if more research has been done on the topic? I am going to write to the company and see if they have a counter to her concern. Thanks again for posting. All I can say is so far they have worked wonders for me.
