Mike,

I do remember " Coach " but do not remember the commercial. Probably for

a good reason. I also remember the movie " Major League " which was about

the Cleveland Indians. We will see who wins the All Star game tonight

with 5 Indians on the roster. Thats pretty good for a team that is

playing under 500.

Dave,

Do you remember the TV series " Coach " ? Jerry van Dyke, Dick's brother,

was a

costar and the cast made a commercial for their show during a Monday

night

Football game that involved Cleveland, I think. It may have been

Buffalo.

But he said something like this: " Even if Cleveland wins, they lose. "

The

Coach asks why and he replies: " They still have to go back to

Cleveland. "

The next week, another commercial was made where a funny apology was

given

to the Cleveland team. Or Buffalo. I just remember that it caused a

ruckus

among some fans who apparently did not have a sense of humor. They were

probably upset with the apology, too.
