Guest guest
Ok, I swore I wouldn't stoop to diet pills! However, for the last two years despite honest attempts to diet and exercise faithfully, I have gained 30 lbs. I have tried various supplements and gimmicks - carb counting, eating more protein, drinking vinegar, increasing exercise, etc to no avail. I can lose 5 -6 lbs over 2 weeks of undereating (or longer time with proper eating), but still gain it back in 2 days. Water retention also remains a problem still. I have tried Armour and compounded T-3 without success, so far. Recently, I saw my chiropractor and he made the mistake of asking me how I was doing. I complained about my stupid hormones and the stupid weight gain. He gingerly told me that they had just began selling a weight loss supplement in his office and that he was seeing incredible success with his patients - even those on thyroid meds and insulin dependance. It was pricey and I wasn't completely convinced. However, he looked a lot slimmer than I remember ever seeing him and I think he must use it based on tips he was giving me regarding it. I finished the appointment and went to pay and began questioning the receptionist about it and whether I could just purchase a few samples. Another patient in the lobby heard me and told me she has hypothyroidism too and had gained 40 lbs because of it. She has been using the product and has, so far, lost 25 lbs. She claimed she has been on the product about 1 1/2 months. Long story short, I succumbed and purchased a 7 day supply. I can't find anything negative about the product or safety and have read lots of people raving about it. Has anyone tried it or can add anything positive or negative about it? I am still doing weight watchers and eating a lot of raw vegetables at lunch and part of dinner, which I intend to continue, along with exercise (this regiment caused me to lose 70 lbs prior to my thyroid rebellion). I asked my chiropractor if it helped people with weight gain due to hormone issues and he said that 80% of people on it benefit from it. This is not an endorsement by me, but I am just seeking comments. Thanks. Holly
