The first thing he mentioned was ALL the cards received form my PLS Friends, he was overwhelmed. I told him what a special group of people they are. He has been in the hospital 4 weeks, and as i sat there holding his hand, it made me reflect on my own condition, and believe me, it made me feel so lucky to be in this condition compared to him. And his devoted wife of 47 years, also in a wheel chair with polio, just as up-beat as could be. He is in a great deal of pain because of a large bowl obstruction. We really don't know where this will all lead, but believe me when I say " count your blessings " Jim and Fay wanted me to say thanks for all the cards sent to him, and I also thank you.
