Guest guest Posted May 16, 2004 Report Share Posted May 16, 2004 My Mom passed away in Dec. She had alzheimers & was in a nursing home for 7 yrs. I saw her live her life all over again. Until finally her eyes were blank! BUT, she always had the most beautiful smile. She could light up a room. Oh! how I miss that smile!! Thanks for sharing that poem. It brought tears to my eyes but every nursing home should have a copy & I'm sending it out to some!! Have a lovely day.
