Guest guest
With respect to ablation, is there any reason why having a blocked artery, albeit with no major impacts other than to monitor the usaul lifstyle and cholesterol etc, will impact an ablation procedure, or indeed make it less succesful? I've got quite a history of heart problem dating back to 1983 when I had my first 4x bypass surgery. Since then I've had another bypass and about 6 balloon angioplasties and a stent put in my heart artery. When I expressed concern about going through an ablation to my EP he said there shouldn't be a problem and that it could be safely done. Dr Natale at the CC told that depending on how much scar tissue I have from the operations would depend on the success of the ablation. He said it could drop to around 40% to 50% if there's a lot of scarring present. P
