Tights

I wanted to post earlier when someone mentioned she put her son in tights

to wear the DBB. I just thought I'd mention that I used to put my non CF

boy babies in tights in the winter under their pants so when the pant legs

ride up they didn't have bare skin to the winter cold outside. DH even

went with it once he saw that it made sense to keep their little legs

warm. So whoever that was who was putting tights on her boy baby to wear

with the DBB don't feel so bad, it really is a good idea IMO.

Additionally, Darbi has pretty much completely stopped wearing the Old Navy

socks in the dbb. I pretty much use the tights exclusively now. They

really work well and I don't have to worry about her having cold legs

either. I like to make sure the seam at the toes is pulled out once I

buckle the strap so she doesn't have that pressing anywhere on her toes but

otherwise I love them. If you're having issues keeping baby warm with the

DBB on try the tights. If you have a boy get blue or black or green and no

one will be the wiser (white works too) and if they are... tell them how

nice and toasty your baby's legs are and point out all the other babies

with bare legs when someone picks them up and the pants ride up lol.

I'm pretty sure we'll be back to socks when it warms up but I really like

the tights. Sometimes I don't even bother to put pants on her, I just let

her run around in a turtleneck onesie and tights (did this with my boys

too, it's so cute and a pretty easy outfit for around the house).
