Guest guest
These are actually my friend's ranges. She is not on any thyroid hormone at all but has been having wild hypo symptoms. Her mom and her sis have Hashi's. She also has Lyme so the doc isn't pursuing thyroid issues any further until getting the Lyme under control. But I took one look at the T4 and figured a RT3 problem which could be really causing some of her awful symptoms. How does one work with RT3? This is something I haven't figured out yet. Is a T3 only med the way to go? Heidi > > Free T4 - 7.1 (Range: .61-1.76) > Free T3 - 3.58 (Range: 2.3-4.2) > TSH - 1.547 (Range: .35-5.5) > > WOW are you taking a T4 med? Is a T3 only med the way to go?<< yes T3 onyl would be the way to go BUT before starting that she should have CORTIOSL testing done as T3 can really do a job on unsupported weak adrenals and it could be weak adrenal scausing this weird lab. She can order this on her own from www.canaryclub.org -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
