Guest guest
>>his other problems are high cholesterol, diabetic, high BP, use to have Congestive heart failure, but specialist said that was gone now but still takes lisinipril to help the heart and BP. Takes water pills for fluid retention sometimes. Has reallyl gained weight and has trouble losing, although he has lost some lately by cutting back on whites...<< being Diabetic he already has on of the best tools available to tell if he is taking to omuch HC. It will raise his glucose if he is. BTW Lisinopril is one of th worse things he could be taking with his health issues! While it is an Ace Inhibitor it is also a Beta Blocker which blocks conversion of T4 ot T3. And MAY block it's action at the ells as well. How high is his BP? I am another CHF survivor and I can tell you wilth proper hormones he can stop all that crappy med and feel better! I do still take Dyazide which is a diuretic but I am down ot 1/2 tab every other day so ti is not much. I ma also on 25mg HC an that is nto a bit too much for me. Neither was 30 for the 2 years I took it and i actually helped lower my glucose as it helped the thyroid work. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

My Bgs are a wee bit higher since my HC dose is up to 20mg. I'm using 4 more units Lantus, but I'm not complaining because before Iodoral, I took 35 units. Guest guest
Yes I do beluieve beta blockers with their problem of blocking conversion of T4 toT3 can cause high RT3. His BP is LOW chances are very good if he raises thyroid he canslowly discontinue the BP med an be fine. I did wiht four of them, but I wenbt VERY slowly except Atemnolol.. I hAD to stop that one abruptly as it was killing me. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
