Barb, as we have been discussing, although I don't wake up with the

tremors, panic, etc. that I used to wake up with, it's been like clock

work every night for the past week that I wake up at around 4 - 5AM

and can't get back to sleep. The last three nights I have gotten up to

eat and take 2.5mg of HC and last night I added 250mg of mag, but I

still lie there for at least an hour afterwards, and then I only doze

fitfully until I either have to get up at 7AM to go to work, or, like

today, I finally fall back to sleep around 7AM until 8:30 or so. As I

understand it, the same thing is happening to your husband except

worse with the tremors still. I guess that we still haven't found our

correct HC rhythm. I'm dosing 10mg at 8AM, 10mg at noon, 5mg at

4-5PM, and 5mg at bed-time (and 2.5mg at around 4-5AM for the past few

nights when I wake up). What your husband is doing is waking himself

up before the episode/attack happens, at like 3AM and taking the HC

and mag then, and then he sleeps through the rest of the night OK? I

guess we have to assume that this is still low HC/hypoglycemia that is

causing this. I was so tired yesterday, and ate a late dinner so I

really thought that I would be able to sleep, but with the HC setting

my sleep patterns, it doesn't matter how tired we are. I hate to make

myself wake up and lose some of the precious sleep that I am getting,

but if it helps to sleep through the rest of the night it would be

well worth it. I'm going to have to try it tonight.

Also, question for you and Val (and anyone) - has anyone else seen

temps go down with an Armour increase? I went up 1/4 grain yesterday

and my temps were below 98 yesterday and I'm cool again today. I'm

also even more hypoT feeling than usual. I'm sticking with the

increase so far and watching the temps, but I guess that I'll have to

drop back if the temps start swinging - I thought that I would get

warmer not cooler.

Thanks,
