Guest guest
In small town Titusville, Florida. He doesn't know anything about thyroid and adrenals though. But willingly prescribes what I ask for. > > Barb, > Where is this dr. you mentioned? > > Tasia > > >

Why the denial...I don't know. I showed her the STTM site, we compared our bodies with her skinny sister, the answers are all there... I have two sisters-in-law, both very heavy. I mentioned they both might have a thyroid problem. Answer? " I've been tested, my labs are normal. " HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What was I thinking? Trying to tell someone who knows everything something? Barb

I guess I am the exception, like many members of this group. It took one person who didn't have thyroid issues to tell me about 3 friends that had thyroid issues and the medical hell they went through b/c drs couldn't find anything wrong with them. I was SO SO desperate to find an answer for my weight issue and depression that I was relieved to find an answer. I was also relieved because I remember thinking, " ok I'm 25, and I always feel shitty, will there be more to live than this? Is this all there is? " That was after my last round of a useless antidepresant, and I was feeling a bit hopeless-out of options. Tasia
