Guest guest
I'm pretty sure you're hypothyroid because of low temps and depression. But are you high or low cortisol? High cortisol: Are you gaining weight? Was your fasting glucose high or are you hypoglycemic? Low cortisol: Anxiety, nausea, shakes/tremors Barb > > > > > > ok,,,I know its said that adrenal fatigue sufferers typically have bp > > > (systolic)that drops when going from a lying to standing position. Guest guest
I agree about being hypo. the last blood test I had my tsh was fine at 1.55 (0.34-5.60) but my free t4 was only 0.86 (0.58-1.64). of course my idiot doc turned down my free t3 request so that made it pretty inconclusive,, I guess. those high and low cortisol symptoms are conflicting in my case. my blood glucose levels were high 102( 70-100) as was my cholesterol 183(0-200) but if anything Ive actually lost a few lbs and only weigh 182 lbs at 6'2 with fairly low body fat at about 13-14%. I have some anxiety with definite fatigue but no nausea or shakes. Im doing my saliva test this week but wish I had a better idea of my cortisol levels now,, so Im not in for a possible surprise when I get the results > > > > > > > > ok,,,I know its said that adrenal fatigue sufferers typically > have bp > > > > (systolic)that drops when going from a lying to standing > position. Guest guest
>>is it possible to still have af even if your bp doesnt drop when standing? my temps are always erratic which made me surprised that my bp usually didnt fall. I wonder if I may actually have high cortisol? << And THIS is why I always tell people to get cortisol saliva testign before assuming you have low cortiosl. The symptoms can be identical. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
