Predinisone is alot stronger and apparently worse on the bones.

I'm sorry I didn't phrase that very well. I'm wondering if taking HC is

rough on the digestive tract. I was also wondering if it would be harder on

the stomach and intestines than prednisone or easier on it. I've taken

prednisone and didn't have a problem with it hurting my stomach, so I wanted

to know if HC would be different in that regard. I know prednisone is not a

good drug to take even if it is a necessary evil at times.

Hi Cherie, I just started using HC cream in the morning. I don't eat when I

first get up, but would like to get that on board. It is every bit as powerful

as the pills, in my expeience.

HC is not as strong as prednisone. If you took prednisone for a short term, it

may not have torn up your stomach.

Can be very, very hard on digestive system! I had a scope done at the end of the

summer and they found erosion in my stomach (duodenal bulb) because of the HC! I

had to be on an anti-ulcer medication for three months. Now I am drinking lots

of milk and yogurt with my morning dose and using cream for the afternoon (am

changing over to HC cream).

Be very careful to eat sufficiently with the HC pills.
