I feel if you are lower than the post meno ranges you should replace it.

Estrogen too. In fact I am gonna be working on this myslef in the very

near future so we can hot flash together. It seems when you get the

cortils levels looking good it brought mine back a little bit but

nothing like I used to have so I have been trying to ignore them...

Well I have my fingers crossed that I have FINALLY found the last of my

health issues to treat. I have been working on getting a CPAP machine

and gettign it working for me for the last 3 months as I have ALL the

symptoms of sleep apnea and cannot afford a sleep study. I bought a VHS

Camcorder to study my OWN sleep! LOL Yes it can be done. Ijust last

night had the very first night sleeping wiht it. Though my glucose was a

bit higher than usual this AM my BP was FANTASTIC! It is the lowest it

has been since I went high 15 years ago! My pulse is dropping

dramatically too. This may have been the CAUSE of my high AM cortiosl

thta has kept me feeling liek crap for years. And I know the high AM

cortilsl is what causes me ot go too low later in the day as it is a

rebound effect. Ihave prdered new saliva testing and thoughI will n be

off HC by then,. it will be interesting to see saliva thyroid levels on

just T3 and how it is actually working at the cellular level. And I

wanted to get the sex hormones tested now thta everything else seems ot

be falling inot place. FINGERS crossed!

You can't just legally buy a CPAP machine but if oyu are resourceful

they can be found.

How were you able to get a CPAP? Did your doc give you a

prescription for it? Or can they be bought without one?

My doc probably would give me a script if I wante dit but no way oculd I

afford this. I got lucky and put the word out on several health lists I

am on and found one no longer being used just collecting dust that was a

gift. It is illegal to transfer them as well as BUY one wihtotu a

scripot ... ANOTHER thing the government regulates for us thatthinks we

are too stoopid to regulate for ourselves.

I don't get this, but my son has a hypoxic generator for high altitude

adaptation, he uses it to prepare for races in high altitude

conditions. So if machines to reduce oxygen can be purchased OTC, why

can't a CPAP which only increases air pressure? In fact my son uses a

CPAP mask he modified with the hypoxic generator.

So anyone, without any Rx, for any frivolous reason, can purchase a

machine to reduce their oxygen intake while they sleep, but to get a

machine that increases airflow requires a doctor's Rx.......

Does this make ANY sense whatsoever?

Basically there is a fairly good reasson. Too muhch pressure on the CPAP machine

can cause CENTRAL Sleep apnea which is even worse than the normal kind. I

believe that si why they are so dstingy with them but to not even allow the

pwners of these machines to knwo how to adjust the pressure is ridiculous. Like

we are all idiots. I do nto liek beig treated like a dummy by mediocal

professionals and this is a prime example. Liek making insulin a prescription

item. In Canada it si not a script! Ho the HELL could anyoen abuse insulin? They

could kill themselves wiht it, but there are other ways ot do that too that are

not illegal.
