What's the worse thing someone has said to you?

Hi all!

I'm working on an article about the worse things that parents hear from

other people or professionals. What are some of the more memorable things you

have heard or that someone has said to you?

One of the most recent ones I heard: A parent was expressing concern about

her child's lack of response to her name. She told the pediatrician that she

thought her child might have a hearing loss. The doctor's reply? " Oh,

she's fine. Maybe she just doesn't like her name! "
