Guest guest
Dennis: I am so sorry about your diagnosis, but welcome to the finest group of people you'll ever meet on the net. I have had the priviledge to meet several of them in person. I was diagnosed with PLS in Sept. of 1999, but at NIH in Bethesda the neurologists are not sure about the PLS. It could be Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. But the sx and tmt are basically the same. I have very mild PLS with very slow progression. I have just started using my cane about 1/2 the time. I fall occasionally. Like today, when I fell up my back steps. So far, the only injury is to my pride (my dog was watching), and a skinned knee. Take care, and keep the faith.
