Guest guest
Have you had RT3 tested? With T4 at the top of it's range.. I would dsudpect your receptors are clogged full of RT3. THAT will prevent ANY T3 from gettign to the cells. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
No, I haven't had RT3 tested. I mentioned it to my doc, and he said he'd treat it the same...just add more Armour. Is that stupid? I don't know anything about RT3 or what it means. I always assumed it was an adrenal problem. So, you wouldn't think the high T3 and T4=need more cortisol, but maybe it's an RT3 problem...? What do I do about this (so I can give doc a gentle push...) Thanks...Teressa > > Have you had RT3 tested? With T4 at the top of it's range.. I would > dsudpect your receptors are clogged full of RT3. You would need to go on straight T3 for a period of at least 3 months till the RT3 clears out. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ I started this group for peopel with this very problem as it seem sit si quite common among people with high or low cortiosl problems. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Many thanks. I'll check out the link you put here about RT3. One other question...I can still continue using the daily temp averages to determine if I'm on the appropriate cortisol dose, right? I mean, even if I do have this RT3 problem...the temps will tell me what's happening with adrenals? Thanks again, Teressa > > >>No, I haven't had RT3 tested.
