Guest guest
I've been following the various posts from people who have children whose feet do not fit properly in the DBB. This seems to be a relatively new development - does this seem to be so for some of the " old timers " on the list? I've been here since April of '02 - and it seems just within this last 1/2 year or so, more and more cases of blisters, shoes not working at all, are occurring. At first, I thought it must have something to do with the correction, (or lack of) or maybe because of non-compliance on the parents part - which made the shoe not fit properly because of relapse. But now I'm starting to wonder - are we starting to see a new crop of feet? Or is this an old problem that I just wasn't aware of? My heart really goes out to those of you experiencing such issues with your child's feet and DBB-wear. I vividly remember what a trying time it was for Zach and my husband and I when Zach first went into the DBB - I can't even begin to imagine the stress level when the feet absolutely won't stay in, blisters, etc. - through no fault of the parent (is what it's sounding like). I'm so sorry for those of you going through this. I know when we first started the DBB we wanted to chuck it out the window (although short lived - Zach adjusted very quickly - about a week, and all was fine). I can empathize with you and I hope your questions are answered quickly and the problems for you are resolved.
