Long time lurker who's coming out of hiding.

Hello everyone,

My name is Cheri (too), I'm 31 & live in Arkansas. I've been lurking

off & on for several months. I posted a couple of things, but it's

been a while. I haven't been able to follow the posts for the past

couple months. Now all of a sudden (it seems sudden, although it's

really not) I have a tentative surgery date with Dr. Booth & I'm

starting to panic.

I thought the insurance would take so much longer & that I'd have to

fight for it, but it sounds like they're going to approve it with no

problems. After hearing about all the other insur. problems, I

wasn't expecting that at all!

I hate to say it, but since I sent in my papers to Dr. Booth's

office, I've hardly thought about it. With work, school finals, x-

mas & shopping, birthdays, family & everything else, I haven't had

time to think about it. It was just something in the back of my mind

but now it's really happening. I am sooo nervous & a little scared

too.

After all the research I did, I feel like my mind has suddenly gone

blank & I don't even know where to begin. I printed the list of

things to take to the hospital. I've also read some good post-op

foods & things to drink.

I guess I'm hoping for some support and guidence or direction on what

I should do. Hopefully you'll be hearing more from me. I have

enjoyed reading all of your stories though. They're very insightful

& helpful. I can see there is a lot of caring here between many,

many people.

If anyone can help me in any way, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks
