About Insomnia

I am struggling with waking too early like many of you. I am on 20 mg

of HC & because of BP do not want to go much higher. If I cannot

sleep past 4:30AM & find myself sitting at the computer what time

should I take my first dose of HC? I seem to need it every 4 hrs

throughout the day & if I take it at 4:30AM I will run out before dark

sets in.

I take mine at 5AM hether I am up at 3 or 4:30. I find for me I still do

fine taking it at 5 9 and 1PM and holding off on another dose till

bedftime.In the afternoons and evenings we need alot less cortisol and

though by bedtime I DO need some I might only get a little sleepy in the

evenings but no shakes or nausea.

Thanks Val. I have never had shakes or nausea, just plenty of

adrenalin. I noticed when I woke up & had that first sip of coffee

the adrenalin hit. This was at 4:30. I held off on the HC until 6AM

when I usually take it. Also, for the first time EVER I woke up

hungry. Yikes! I am not about to start that!

On another subject, the C-pap manual for DH came via email today. YEAH!!!
