Guest guest
HI DALE, I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR STORY. SO HAPPY YOU ARE ON THE MEND. DON HAD A COUPLE EXPERIENCES THAT THREW HIM WAY OFF. HE LOST ALMOST EVERYTHING. I WAS SO AFRAID THAT HE WOULD NOT RECOVER. HE DIDN'T GET IT ALL BUT MOST DID COME BACK WITH WORK. BESIDES HIS REGULAR MEDS WE HAVE DON TAKING CREATINE AND CQ-10. THEY MAKE THE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE IN HIS STRENGTH. IF HE MISSES JUST ONE DOSE WE CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE WHEN WE DO HIS EXERCISES. THE NURO IS NOW HAVING ME INCREASE HIS BACLOFEN TO 80 MG A DAY IN 4 DOSES. WE HAVE TRIED THIS BEFORE BUT HE SEEMS TO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IT. I AM RAISING IS WITH SMALLER DOSES OVER LONGER PERIODS. HOPE THAT HIS BODY ACCEPTS IT THAT WAY. ANY WAY, HANG IN THERE. YOU WILL REGAIN YOUR STRENGTH. DON JUST HAD A SWALLOW EVAL THIS WEEK. HE NOW HAS TO HAVE PUREED DIET, NO MORE SOFT FOODS. HE IS HOWEVER SAFE WITH NECTAR THICKNESS DRINKS. HE DOES HOWEVER NEEDS TO SWALLOW TWICE TO GET ALL THE FLUIDS DOWN. I GOT TO SEE THE TEST WHEN IT WAS DONE. HOW INTERESTING IT IS TO SEE HOW A SWALLOW WORKS. WELL I HAVE WRITTEN MUCH MORE THAN I WAS GOING TO SO I'LL LET YOU GO. LOVE BONNIE Subject: Still kicking > Hi, > > Thanks for all the welcome backs. Guest guest
Thanks Bonnie and again thanks to everyone. I wanted to let you know that yesterday was one of the best days I have had in a couple of weeks. Last week I could tell my strength was coming back, yesterday and today my energy is much better. I think the big thing there is my breathing. After the toxic dose and not being able to breath, my breathing and lungs were very shallow, this week I noticed it improving! Instead of 5-10 minutes of PT and resting I can go 20-30. Today I finally felt good enough to do a few small things around the house, even dusted a few end tables! Nothing fantastic but it sure feels good to me! dale Re: Still kicking > HI DALE, > > I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR STORY.
