Guest guest
Sandy, had the ostomy done one Christmas Eve, so it was almost 6 months. He had rectal cancer and they operated and removed about 10 inches of bowel and put on the bag. They were going to remove it in about 6 weeks, but the cancer had spread to one lymph node and they decided to give him another round of chemo. They wouldnt reverse the bag while he was on chemo. Soooooo, it is finally over (I don''t think it is ever really over once you've had cancer) and life goes on. He did figure out that you could live with this bag on your side. At first, he really didn't want to or try to but after a while you just adjust to anything. Thanks for all your prayers and good luck with your hubby. Tell him to just take it one day at a time. God bless you all, Jeanne Ann Neff ps............To all who asked about Jule..........She is doing much better. Actually we all are. It is amazing what good Christian counseling can do. She is still a typical teenager, but the she appears to have a handle on the rage. I am so thankful. Re: Update on Chris Hi all, We're back!! The surgery was a success, the ostomy reversed and all is well. In fact, is doing wonderful. Thank you all so much for your prayers. It is a powerful and great thing to know that people all over the world pray when you need it. God bless you all. Jeanne Ann Neff
Guest guest
Jeanne, Boy has really been through it. Did he do alright with the chemo? When they still thought I had M.S they had me do the chemo for it. That was so hard to go through, I got so sick. I do have a question for you about and his colosomy, did he get constipated? We have been having to do enimas through his stoma twice a week if there is no movement. The other day he had a terrible bought with diahrea where the bag burst while he was in bed, boy what a mess. This is so hard on him. Thank you for shareing about , that is fantastic news that she is doing better. My prayers are with you and your family. Sandy Re: Update on Chris Hi all, We're back!!
