What's the difference between eltroxin and synthroid

Hi,

I just recently saw an endocrinologist who switched my thyroid

medication from eltroxin to synthroid. I just realized it when I picked

up my prescription. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? And if

one is supposed to be better than the other?
