Val, you posted this response on message #30901 and I have some

questions....

" Waking earlier was porbably from a rise in cortils and you caught it

on it;s way down. Weird when I oversleep my Dawn Rise is MUCH lower

than when I wake up right before the alarm goes off as is my norm. But

when I wake early it is from HIGH AM cortisol and yours could also be

from adrenaline from low cortiosl. Are you hungry when you wake early?

Adrenaline makes you hungry and cortisol does not.

I weaned off my TR T3 and stayed on 27.5HC while doing so--felt great.

But when I added 5mcg of T3, my sleep changed. Became very light,

every sound woke me up, and I would wake between 3-5am. Sometimes I

am hungry , sometimes I am not. How do I treat adrenaline vs cortisol...

Last night I took 5 HC at bedtime, 11pm (total of 30HC for the day), I

woke at 3:30 am and was not hungry, took 2.5 HC and went back to sleep

in 1 hr.

Am I going about this the right way?

Also, my body is becoming very hypo again while I am on such little

T3. How do I dose myself so that I can increase T3 to a reasonable

level...do I increase 2.5HC every 3 days and then increase 2.5 T3 for

every 5HC? When my sleeping problems came up,my temps showed no signs

of distress.

Also, if I needed 27.5 HC while on no thyroid medication, does that

mean I will probably need around 35-40HC to tolerate T3?
