Mito specialist in San Francisco Bay Area

I am looking for a Mito specialist in the San Francisco Bay area. I

have been looking for answers for many years. No one has been able

to help me. Mitochonrial cytopathy is the only thing that I have

found that would explain all the strange and diverse symptoms that I

have had over the years. I recently got some of my old records from

my doctor and one of the specialists that I saw mentioned it as a

possiblilty. However it wasn't followed through with at the time.

I was told that I should just learn to live with my " spells " . My

doctor has finally sent me down to the endocrine clinic at UCSF.

There they confirmed a self diagnosed thyroid condition. All my

tests came back normal, but I am thyroid resistent. I really would

like to find someone to help me figure out what is going on. This

self diagnosis really stinks!
