Guest guest
Valarie, for some reason, blood pressure as of late has been running l50-l60/98, and when I went for a 4-month's checkup, it was l78/l02 so she perscribed Benazepril which I began last night. I slept beautifully with vivid, pleasant dreams and didn't get up 'til 8:00. BP today is l33/79. BUT this afternoon I felt a bit SICK and restless, which the literature on this drug will happen until the body gets used to it. What are the effects of these medicines on adrenals and thyroid. I have resisted getting on these for two years since my other doctor quadrupled my Armour over about a 4-month period and I became severly hyper, but can't argue my BP is getting dangerously out-of-hand. What can you tell me about BP meds. I refused to take one perscribed before because I became short of breath. Thank's for any info you might have. Pat Re: Re: valerie are you on adrenal support? That depends on the individual and how the HC supresses the adrenals. Right now I am taking 5 - 5 - 5 and just went to this today, I take 5 at 5am 5 at 10 am and then 5 at bedtime. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
I can answer part of this, the one you are on, Lotension (Benazepril) is a CAD which helps calm down what excessive adenosine does to the body. I had to go on one about the time of menopause which is about the time I went on armor and Isocort, so I don't know which of these two events caused my sudden switch from too low blood pressure to way too high. Either event could have. Hensley <>< 8-) Pat asked, What can you tell me about BP meds. I refused to take one prescribed before because I became short of breath. Guest guest
I meant ACE inhibitor. I am having to catch up on over 40 of these posts all at once, due to getting a few days behind due to two broken dryers and another health problem.
